Scope and Contents The letters appear to be to John Murray II and John Murray III. Also included are some letters of Palgrave to John Gibson Lockhart [Note]. The letters relate to various publishing concerns, including articles for the “Quarterly Review” by Palgrave, and Palgrave’s editorship of “The hand-book for travellers in Northern Italy” (1842 and subsequent editions).
