Loose sheets, containing a list of debts paid and outstanding since February 1826, and the income and expenditure account for 1827-1828, 1830-1831, which gives particulars of certain pictures, have been sewn into the book (folios 11-23). The name William Hamilton, brother of James, also occurs. The lectures are dated day by day. There are two class lists (folios 3, 88), and a list of the dates of birth of members of the Hamilton family (folio 6), which indicates that the writer of the notes was probably James Hamilton of Dalzell.
