In private correspondence with the National Library of Scotland Michael Gullick suggests that this manuscript may be of Italian origin from the 11th century. Scope and Contents
In some cases the underwriting has been identified: folios 9+16 and folios 19+22 are fragments of 8th-century copies of Augustine's ‘De Trinitate’ and the ‘Passio S. Laurentii’. Folio 30 recto is part of a service book, possibly a missal, of the early 11th century. Folios 26+33 is a fragment of a copy of Gregory the Great's ‘Homiliae in Evangelia’, of the 8th century.
