Scope and Contents The letters are to John Murray IV and to Hallam Murray. Evans, in retirement, undertook work for the Murrays both in an editorial and in an advisory capacity, particularly on works relating to Classics and religion. Evans had also a keen interest in the history of the Napoleonic Wars, particularly in the Battle of Waterloo, to which the letters contain references.The letters are arranged chronologically.1903: folios 1-65;1904: folios 66-99....
