File contains a large number of original letters from T.O. Williams & Davies chartered accountants; from Raymond-Barker, Nix & Co. solicitors; and from Lord Gorrell, alongside copy responses from John Murray, publishers. Original partnership deeds are also present, alongside orignal news cuttings on Gorrell's appointment as partner.

File contains original and copy letters to and from John Murray Ltd., publishers, both seeking and granting copyright permissions for the reproduction of illustrations and texts in Murray's educational titles and in those of external publishers. File also includes invoices, permission forms, agreements, and a handul of printed lists concerning "reprint titles" and "Gryphon Books Fiction File".
