Biography
Edinburgh Film Productions was established in 1964 by Robin Crichton, opening Marfield studios at Nine Mile Burn outside Edinburgh in 1969. EFP produced cinema documentaries for Films of Scotland, commercials, and fiction and documentary productions for international broadcast. EFP's director Robin Crichton spent nearly 40 years pioneering the international co-production of films for TV and cinema and won a number of major awards.
