Sir Lewis Robertson, industrialist and administrator. First Chief Executive of Scottish Development Agency and first chairman of Girobank Scotland. Chairman of various companies including Borthwicks plc, Lilley plc, Havelock Europa plc, Stakis plc, Scottish Financial Enterprise and Postern as well as many non-executive directorships.
Also involved in many government advisory, cultural and charitable bodies including Chairman of the Carnegie Trust for the Universities of Scotland, treasurer of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and chairman of the Eastern Regional Hospitals Board.
