Biography

Dr Sue Innes was a writer and researcher, and co-ordinator with Engender, the national Scottish women's organisation. After a career in journalism, mainly with Scotsman Publications, she returned to university, graduating with a PhD from the University of Edinburgh in 1998. She taught feminist political theory at the University of Glasgow and held a research fellowship with the Centre for Research on Families and Relationships, Glasgow Caledonian University. She published work on feminism in the 1990s and inter-war period, on women and the Scottish Parliament and on families and care.
