The precept reads, `I haf sene a letter of Sr Jamys ye Valance that God assoilze dyrekit tyl my lorde my fader of quham God haf mercy that tyme bailze tyl rede the landymeris [ride the marches] between the landis of Gartmor and the landis of Lumphenane pertenand til Phylp Hakat`.
