The obligation states that, having received 220 merks on his marriage with Margaret Hakkat, sister of Henry Hakkat and daughter of Margaret Cunynghame, he shall not alienate his lands of Hundbye, in barony of Liston and sheriffdom of Linlithgow, to the prejudice of the heirs of the marriage.
