This sub-series comprises printed catalogues recording all educational titles published by John Murray publishers annually. The formatting and size of educational catalogues began to change in 1968 with individual subjects being given their own standalone catalogues rather than one singular annual edition.

Promotional inserts at the end of the sub-series offer descriptions of named books, including chapter outlines, information on the authors, publication details as to dates and prices, and illustrated examples. They are often noted as having been printed for insertion into promotional packets for teachers. Many also contain a detachable order form.
