This sub-series comprises original advertising listings which appear to have been printed in published sources, including journals, newsletters, and quarterly magazines. Listings include those for 'new books'; 'standard works'; and 'works in preparation', amongst other categories. Many listings have been annotated with the titles of the sources in which they appeared, and from which they appear to have been physically extracted and later arranged together.
