Scope and Contents
Small unbound octavo booklet, 16 leaves. In the hand of Rev. Donald MacNicol, with annotations in English in the hand of his son Dugald MacNicol. The booklet is undated, but it contains an elegy for Uisdean Bhaile Shear, referred to as having died in 1769.
The first page contains a contents list of titles. Signed at the bottom, 'Donald McNicol'.
Contains six songs, the last three Ossianic. The contents are described in Mackechnie, 'Catalogue of Gaelic manuscripts', vol. 1, pages 330-331.
