Scope and Contents
This series documents the day-to-day work and social life within John Murray, publishers, as experienced and recalled by the Murray family and members of the company’s personnel. The series includes ‘albums’ which speak to company social events, publishing events, and family activities over the years; published histories of the company; correspondence between academics, researchers, the public, and writers with the company’s archive; and research correspondence with the archive relating specifically to the work of Lord Byron.
