Collected by George Mackay Brown, these are almost all unannotated, except for: -
'The Sunday missal' (A Harkins & Bros, 1958) - inscribed by George Mackay Brown with his full name.
'Little office of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel' (Carmelite Press, 1960) - inscribed by George Mackay Brown with 'George Brown'.
'My Sunday missal' (Confraternity of the Precious Blood, 1942) - inscribed 'To George, with happy memories of the occasion of his baptism and reception. Saturday Dec 23rd 1961, from Father F Cairns SJ'. Father Cairns was Kirkwall parish priest at the time of George Mackay Brown's formal reception into the Catholic Church, in December 1961.
'Blessed Dominic Barberi CP: apostle of unity' (Catholic Truth Society, 1963) - inscribed 'A Wilson is also the author of a ponderous book about Dominic, so far from the last, but not best, biography of blessed Dominic (supernaturalised Briton) - [signature illegible] (Bonnuci)'.
