Lacking a leaf, which probably contained a miniature after folio 77. The Hours of the Cross, the Hours of the Eternal Wisdom, the Office of the Dead, and the Hours of the Passion are preceded by large miniatures within decorated borders representing Christ surrounded by the instruments of the Passion (folio 47 verso), the Trinity (folio 58 verso), the Harrowing of Hell (folio 151 verso), and the Agony in the Garden (folio 186 verso), and are introduced, as are the Hours of the Virgin and the Penitential Psalms, by large decorated initials and foliage. The large miniatures are inserted on single leaves. There are smaller decorated initials throughout. The rubrics are in red, but the verse-initials in the text are usually in blue.
