The contents are as follows. (i) Manuscript of the incomplete autobiography of Donald Macleod, from his birth in 1831 to his removal to The Park parish in 1869. (Folio 1.) (ii) An appreciation of his cousin the Very Reverend Norman Macleod, Doctor of Divinity, of Inverness, by Donald Macleod, [1911]. (Folio 25.) (iii) Letter, 1916, of William Canton, formerly sub-editor of ‘Good words’, to Agnes M Macleod, concerning her father's autobiography, and suggesting publication of a biography. (Folio 27.) (iv) Notes, undated, of William Canton, on the autobiography. (Folio 32.) (v) 'Bibliography of the Very Rev. Donald Macleod, D.D.' by William Canton, undated. (Folio 34.) (vi) 'Donald Macleod of The Park. A personality and a memory by Sydney Smith', 1925. This sketch was drawn on for 'Donald Macleod of Glasgow’. (Folio 36.)
