Scope and Contents
The correspondence is chiefly confined to 1885-1886 and 1892-1893. The early letters discuss government policies. The later ones, which concern Henry Labouchere's ambition to represent the Queen in Washington, include letters of William Gladstone, Labouchere's wife, Henrietta, and memoranda and drafts of letters by the Earl of Rosebery.
