Letters to John Murray, publishers, of Albert Dicey and Edward Dicey., 1886-1921.
Scope and Contents
Dicey, Albert Venn.
The letters are to John Murray III and John Murray IV. They mostly concern the preparation and publication of two works by Albert Dicey:
“England’s case against Home Rule” (1886, and subsequent editions);
“A leap in the dark: or, Our new constitution” (1893).
Many of the letters seem to be by an amanuensis. The letters are arranged chronologically.
