Scope and Contents

The letters of Francis Oliver concern setting up a scheme for the publication of books arising from advanced courses in botany at the University of London.

Those of Samuel Oliver include suggestions for publication, including an account of the Dreyfus affair; he reports also his original authorship of an official account of the Second Afghan War.

The letters of Thomas Oliver concern mainly his work “Dangerous trades”. The letters are arranged alphabetically by correspondent and by date under each name.
