The letters relate to various publishing concerns, including articles for the “Quarterly Review” by Palgrave, and Palgrave’s editorship of “The hand-book for travellers in Northern Italy” (1842 and subsequent editions). Two letters, folios 100-101 and 105-106, are in the hand of an amanuensis.
