Scope and Contents

The contents are as follows.

(i) 'De Hominio Disputatio Adversus eos Qui Scotiam Feudum Ligium Angliae, Regemque Scotorum eo nomine Hominium Anglo debere asserunt' (folio 1), dated 1697 (folio 121). The first and only publication of the work was the English translation by George Ridpath (London, 1695).

(ii) 'De Jure Successionis Regni Angliae', dated 1697 (folio 127). The first and only publication of the work was the English translation by James Gatherer (London, 1703).

(iii) 'De Unione Regnorum Britanniae Tractatus' (folio 468). The work was edited for the Scottish History Society by C Sanford Terry, 1909, from Adv.MS.25.4.3. See also MS.2698.
