There are numerous corrections by James Augustus Grant on the proofs, most of which have been incorporated into the published work; there is a proof of pages 454-457, 'Explanation of Names and Terms', which were omitted from the published work. The interleaves have been used by Grant at various dates to make corrections and additional comments.
