Monboddo numbers 209, 123-124, 131. (ii) 'Of the poetry of Plato', 1772. (Folio 26.) Monboddo number 158. (iii) Papers on the orations of Demosthenes, ?1781, undated. (Folio 37.) They include observations on the Karl of Mansfield’s Latin oration on Demosthenes, which are closely related to a passage in the ‘Origin and progress of language’ vi, pages 457-470; and translations from the Greek. Monboddo numbers 208, 125, 290, 126. (iv) ‘The λоϫоѕ ΣΤΤΙΤαΦΙΟЅ translated with remarks on Thucydides', undated. (Folio 163.) Monboddo number 134.
