A volume of mainly newspaper cuttings with a general interest in Oban and in Gaelic culture, documenting the activities of An Comunn Gàidhealach and other Gaelic organisations and Gaelic-related events, news concerning Oban High School and its pupils, and newspaper articles concerning the First World War. There are also cuttings of a number of Gaelic songs, and two issues of Oban High School Magazine (Vol. IV, no. 2 (March 1913) and vol. IV, no. 3 (July 1913)). Pasted onto the back paste-down are membership cards of Oban High School Boys' Literary Club, 1910-1913 and undated, signed by Alan A. Campbell, possibly the compiler of the scrapbook.
