Custodial History

The letters of Sir Alexander Gilmour and Reverend Sir Adam Gordon (MS.1055, folios 159-172, 183-207) and those of or concerning William Jameson, Kinloch, Sir W Stirling, Mrs Torry, and the debtors (MS.1056, folios 37 81, 169-174, 187, 201) were bought in 1935, the correspondence with Mrs Siddons (MS.1056, folios 155-158), in 1933.
