The contents are as follows.

(i) Papers relating to trade, 1787-1812, undated. Many of the papers deal with cotton (including resolutions, etc., of cotton-spinners and drapers in Great Britain). There is also material about the renewal of the Company's charter, private trading, and the proposed importation of Indian rice into England at the time of the dearth, 1800 (folio 149). The cases of individual merchants are included. (Folio 1.)

(ii) The debts of the Nawab of the Carnatic, 1794, 1808-1810. (Folio 222.).
