Includes letters written by secretaries on the King's behalf, and copies of letters comminicated to the 4th Earl of Minto. MS.12727 contains the original letters, and includes a draft of the 4th Earl of Minto's letter of acceptance of the viceroyalty, and Edward VII's first letter of 1 September 1905, which are not in MS.12728; it does not contain telegrams.
