Scope and Contents

The contents are as follows: Medical manuscript, 1596-1600, in Gaelic written by Donnchadh Ó Conchubhair (Duncan O’Conacher, 1571-1647) (Adv.MS.73.1.22);

Small collection of MacLeod poetry manuscripts given to the Highland Society of Scotland in 1800 by Sir John MacGregor Murray, who received them from Sir William MacLeod Bannatyne.(Adv.MS.73.2.20);

Manuscript, 1734-1735, containing Irish grammar written by Aodh Ó Dálaigh (Hugo Daly) for Paris Anderson, a student of Trinity College, Dublin (Adv.MS.73.5.1);

Vellum fragment, 14th century, being an almost complete leaf from what appears to be a commentary on a legal text; with 13 very small parchment fragments (Adv.MS.84.1.16);

Two fragments, late 12th century, from the Temporale of a missal of Scottish provenance. (Adv.MS.84.1.17);

Four fragments, late 12th century, from the Temporale of a missal of Scottish provenance. (Adv.MS.84.1.18).
