Scope and Contents
Proofs of works on Lord Byron published by John Murray: '‘Works of Lord Byron: Poetry, Vol.1’; and, 'Lord Byron's correspondence'.
Many of the proofs here are likely to relate to the 'Works of Lord Byron: Poetry Vol. I', edited by Ernest Hartley Coleridge. The proofs are heavily annotated and including some in the hand of Ralph Milbanke, later 2nd Earl of Lovelace.
'Lord Byron's Correspondence' was edited and published by John Murray IV in 1922. The proofs have been annotated by a variety of contributors. In addition to the proofs there are also manuscript copies of some of the letters of Byron, notes and a press cutting of a review of the 'Lord Byron's Correspondence'.
