Scope and Contents

The letters have been arranged in alphabetical order by correspondent surname. When first made available for consultation this folder of letters, before it was foliated, included a wrapper, 1813, of a letter to Lord Byron. This is believed to have been sent by Sir George Sinclair, so has been moved to Ms.43508 f.7.
