Three sets of corrected proofs of ‘Ode (From the French)’ by Lord Byron. The poem featured in ‘Poems’ by Lord Byron, published by John Murray in 1816. It first appeared in the ‘Morning Chronicle’, 15 March 1816.

Each set is annotated, with some annotations in the hand of Lord Byron.

Frist set entitled ‘French Ode’: folios 1-2;

Second set entitled ‘Ode from the French’: folios 3-4;

Third set has a deleted printed title ‘French Ode’ and ‘Ode from the French’ added by Lord Byron: folios 5-6.
