Photographs of three plans of estates on Mull.
Scope and Contents
All plans have a note by Claud Russell, trustee for Archibald McLean of Pennycross, that they are the plans referred to in a disposition, 19 February 1819, by him to William McGillivray, Montreal.
The plans are as follows:
(i) 'Plan of the Lands of Torrens in the Island of Mull belonging to Archibald Maclean Esquire of Pennycross Surveyed 1816 by Alexander Langlands.' The scale is approximately 14¹/₄ inches to the mile.
(ii) Plan of Pennycross &c in the Island of Mull Surveyed 1817 by Alexander Langlands.' The scale is approximately 11¹/₂ inches to the mile.
(iii) 'Hill Part of Pennycross &c Island of Mull Belonging to Donald Robertson Esq. ʳ[e] Drawn by C A McVean', undated. The scale is approximately 11¹/₂ inches to the mile.
