Annotated photograph albums of the rock climbing and mountaineering activities of Harry MacRobert.
Scope and Contents
MacRobert was a keen climber and a member of both the Scottish Mountaineering Club and the Alpine Club, becoming Vice-President of the latter. MacRobert also edited 'The Central Highlands' by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.
The albums record climbs made in Scotland, England, Wales and the Alps.
The albums include diary entries detailing the climb, people, transport and weather. Some of the entries are annotated with references to the 'Scottish Mountaineering Club Journal', where articles corresponding to the specific climbs can be located.
