Unpublished Gaelic song entitled "Ionndruinn a' chiobair air a leannan", with music for voice and piano. In the hand of Rev. Dr Alexander Mackinnon (1880-1965), and signed with his initials.
Mackinnon, born in Tiree, was minister of St. Columba's in Glasgow, and Kilmonivaig. A further song of his is published in H. Cameron (ed.), 'Na bàird Thirisdeach' (1932).
Begins 'Gach creutair 's an ealtuinn 's an dailtean na spreidh'. 6 stanzas of 4 lines, with a refrain of 4 lines, marked 'seisd', beginning 'Mo chaileag, mo chaileag, dean cabhag is till'.
Contents:
(i) Large bifolium of music paper, containing the text of the song, followed by the tune, arranged for voice and piano but without text.
(ii) One sheet, containing another copy of the text.
