Correspondence of and relating to Iain Crichton Smith.
Scope and Contents
The collection consists mainly of letters received by Iain Crichton Smith, largely from publishers, literary magazines, newspapers, broadcasters, educational institutions, cultural organizations, research students and fans; with other material, such as invitations to exhibition openings, graduations and literary events, papers relating to the teaching of literature in schools, and ephemera.
These papers were acquired with the collection now at Acc.12600, but due to an oversight were not accessioned with the main collection in 2006.
