The contents of the manuscript are as follows:(i) `Epitome Codicis Sconensis ... ex libro M.S. Magni Mackculloche` (folio 1). Material in Latin and English, taken from the `Scotichronicon` for 1057 to 1436, with a supplement (folio 34) for 1199-1263. The copy was probably begun in 1696 (the date quoted on the title page) and not completed until 1701 or later (34.1.10(iii), folio 294 verso), made apparently by a copyist from the transcripts made by Hay when he was in Scotland between 1686 and 1689.
