Extract of bond, 24 April 1611, by David Forrest of Forrest and James Forrest, fiar of Forrest, to Fergus Lyn, burgess of Dundee. Registered, 20 January 1612., 24 April 1611.
Some of the items in this series belong in other parts of the Saltoun collection, but their relationship was not discovered until after the arrangement had been finalised; others may have been acquired by various members of the family.
Extract of bond, 25 July 1618, by Mr William Forbes of Craigievar to John Forbes of Pitsligo. Registered, 28 December 1619., 25 July 1618.
William Forbes of Many, afterwards of Craigievar, and his son Sir William, succeeded in acquiring all rights to Saltoun, which was ultimately sold, after being held briefly by Sir William Gray of Pittendrum and various relations of Forbes, to Sir Andrew Fletcher of Innerpeffer.
Extract of bond, 26 August 1647, by William, Earl of Morton and Sir James Douglas to Mr William Hay. Registered, 18 March 1648., 26 August 1647.
There are also some documents relating to the lands of Butterdean and Wester Borthwick in Oldhamstocks which were held by the lairds of Aberlady.
Extract of bond, 26 November 1641, by Sir Patrick Douglas of Kilspindie, Sir Arthur Douglas of Whittinghame, Sir Arnold Douglas of Spot and Sir Robert Douglas of Blackerstone to Alexander Don, indweller in Edinburgh and servant to James, Earl of Moray, for 2000 merks. Registered, 14 February 1643., 26 November 1641.

Extract of bond and disposition, 4 April 1723, by John Shiells, factor to Viscount of Primrose, to Henry Fletcher of Saltoun for £100 sterling of his goods etc at Longniddry, and instrument of resignation, April 1723, following. Registered 11 April 1723., 4 April 1723.
Sir Andrew Fletcher of Innerpeffer purchased Saltoun and Glencorse in 1642; Glencorse was sold in 1647. The documents concern both the estate and individual members of the family.
