The catalogue, based on the main part of MS.6308, consists of two main sections, 'Folio' and 'Quarto'. Within each section the volumes are arranged in rough alphabetical order. There is no index.

At the end is the catalogue of the books given by James Nairn to the College Library, printed 1678.

The description of the manuscript in the folio catalogue (F.R.195) includes the reference: (A.6.10).
