Collection was possibly amassed by WGML librarian Audrey Canning in the course of her own research into the life of Jessie Stephen, in preparation for the publication of a biographical entry on Stephen in the Biographical Dictionary of Scottish Women, 2006.

Scope and Contents Collection contains one folder of photographs, correspondence, notes, poems, songs, political ephemera, and speeches of both Jimmy and Margaret Hunter. Topics represented in written material include the Suffrage Movement, the poetry of Robert Burns (possibly for a Burns Supper event), and election campaigns.
