Precept of sasine of the nether thirdpart of Panlathy, Forfarshire, by Sir Thomas Maule of Panmure in favour of Robert Liddell of Panlathyn, and Elizabeth of Arbuthnot, his wife., 1479.
A miscellany of charters and other formal documents from the collection of John Smith, Edinburgh. Most of the documents are deeds relating to land tenure in East Lothian, particularly to lands and properties in Dunbar.

Sir Andrew Fletcher of Innerpeffer purchased Saltoun and Glencorse in 1642; Glencorse was sold in 1647. The documents concern both the estate and individual members of the family.
Precept of sasine to Sir James Haldane of Gleneagles (d 1547) of the lands of Portnellan moir, Ardoth and Blairullandis [?]., 18 June 1546.
Almost all of these papers were used in the claim to the ancient earldom of Levenax, or Lennox, drawn up [but not brought to the House of Lords] by George Cockburn, Haldane of Gleneagles. An inventory of these documents and papers is available.
