Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series: Andrew Hunter was co-owner with Alexander Hood of the Nanoo Oya and Talawa Kelle coffee estates in Ceylon. As a planter, Hunter was concerned with the road building programme, he was also secretary of the St Andrews Club in Nuwara Eliya, and latterly was involved in the administration of the island as a Justice of the Peace.
