Scope and Contents

A printed volume based on a lecture delivered before the Rosebery Burns Club, Glasgow, 10 March 1903, by James Walsh.

The Volume is dedicated to Mr McGill, who was a `personal friend` Walsh.

A handwritten grace, `Oh thou who blest the loaves and fishes` is inscribed on the last page of the volume. It is attributed to Robert Burns, but appears to be a reworking of an earlier version by Jonathan Swift.

Dates: 1903.
