The painting is one of a series depicting the incarnations of Vishnu by a Sikh artist from Amritsar working for Colonel August C Honner. It shows Vasudeva carrying the infant Krishna across the river Yamuna.

It includes the scripts and correspondence of many BBC radio programmes from the 1950s and 60s, original scripts and correspondence regarding his published and unpublished books, and additional correspondence spanning forty five years working for UNESCO, the BBC, and as a full time writer.
Patent of nobility by the Empress Maria Theresa, in favour of Johann Baptist and Karl Joseph Hepperger, merchants in Botzen.
The manuscript is written in an engraved frame dated 1757, and includes a painting of the Hepperger coat of arms. Inserted at the beginning is a paper read to the Society of Antiquaries of London in 1842, and other material concerning the document.
