They are followed (folio 80) by 'A Righteous Man' and "The Breaking' (published in the ‘Times Literary Supplement’, 21 December 1979, page 158), ‘The Christmas' (from ‘One foot in eden’, 1956), and pages containing more than one poem and drafts of unidentified works. Finally there is the corrected typescript of 'The Return', a verse drama on the return of Odysseus (folio 99).

Manuscript of a dramatization in four parts by Robert McLellan of Sir Walter Scott's novel, ‘Waverley’, broadcast in the series 'This is my country'., 1957.
Apart from the plays written specially for radio, such as ‘The Carlin Moth’ and 'As ithers see us', Robert McLellan also wrote a number of short pieces, often as part of a larger series. Many of these were broadcasts for schools. He also contributed to programmes such as 'Scottish Life and Letters', and wrote for television.

(iii) Annotated typescript of the broadcast, 1954 (folio 90). (iv) Fragments of typescripts, 1952, undated (folio l36).
