Publicity relating to other shows, containing some 7:84 Theatre Company postcards., 2002-2005.
This collection dates mainly from after 1988, when John McGrath and Elizabeth MacLennan resigned from the company which they had established, with David MacLennan, in 1973. Following the funding crisis in 2006, the company had to leave its base in the STUC building in Glasgow, and it was at this point that much of the material in this accession was presented to the National Library of Scotland.

Six postcards of and relating to Jack Wilson, on active service during the First World War., 1914-1916
A uniformed Jack Wilson features in most of the six photographic postcards, and in one can be seen mounted on a horse. In another, he is part of a group of men and women wearing uniforms and holding what appear to be hockey sticks.

Stories written by William Hunter, of Oban, whilst being held as a prisoner of war in Germany during the Second World War.
Hunter was interned in a number of different camps for officers, including Oflag VII C, Oflag IX A/Z and Oflag VIB. Whilst the stories were written during his internment, they do not describe his experiences during that time.
Prior to the Second World War, Hunter had lived in Ferozepur and Allahabad, India before moving to Oban around 1936, which is reflected in his stories.
