The proofs here are for Volume II of 'Nineveh and its remains' by Austen Henry Layard. The proofs have been heavily annotated, with many additions, corrections and deletions.

Although these are not a complete set of proofs, only a few pages are missing. There are proofs for pages 1-252, 271-272 and 275-484. The page numbers are taken from the original pagination on the proofs. In addition there are six folios that have been added throughout the proofs with corrected text.
