Scripts of two contributions written by Macintosh for the Weekly Scotsman's columm "A Highland Notebook". The first, "Làithean sona agus làithean dona", on lucky and unlucky days, is undated. Eleven notebooks on subjects concerning Gaelic literature and culture, folk traditions and Highland life. Most of the contents are written in Gaelic. The notebooks are undated, but the majority bear the name of Glasgow Academy, where Macintosh began to teach in 1953, and were probaby compiled between that year and the late 1960s. Some of the notes can be dated to the 1960s due their link to Macintosh's activity as a contributor to newspaper columns.
