The reminiscences cover from Lady Mears' life in James Court on the Royal Mile, Edinburgh, to memories of summers at Innesforth, circa 1905-1906. There are also typescripts of her diary of the autumn of 1895 (folio 86), and of ‘My Memories of Crawford, July 1899’, by her cousin, Edith (folio 92).
