Notebooks containing records of Macintosh's professional training and history teaching notes. Acc.14003/94 has details of his placement in King's Park Secondary School, Glasgow. Further volumes contain history teaching notes written for his teaching experience at Greefield Academy, Hamilton, and Glasgow Academy. Acc.14003/100-101 contain history essays by a pupil named D.T. Donaldson, Glasgow Academy. Acc.14003/106 contains teaching notes and examination papers dating from Macintosh's time as headmaster of Portree High School.
